Putting A.I. to work for you
Our first session was more or less a grand tour of what's commercially available to independent freelancers. This time, we decided to drill down into tools that freelancers are likely to need every day, with ChatGPT being the primary focus.
It took a bit of push to get everyone to at least try it out, and then go throough the 5-step process in which it's amazing and can probably come up with the cure for anything, through disappointment and disbelief, getting an understanding of the limits and the benefits, and arriving at a compromise with semi-reliable assistants that aren't entirely trustworthy. But they're fairly cheap.
How to talk to robots is an art and a science. It's also a bit like riding a biycle: there's only one way to actualy learn, and that is to get aboard and start peddling.
