Alan Ralsky, described as the top of a pyramid of co-conspirators who used tens of millions of junk emails to bilk Internet users of tens of millions of dollars, will be sentenced on November 23, 2009.
Ralsky faces 87 months in jail - although reports abounded following his guilty plea in Detroit earlier this year that he was prepared to rat out additional accomplices in return for a reduced sentence.
A Justice Department spokesperson today confirmed that Ralsky - one of the many media-annointed 'spam kings' - will go before a federal judge at 2 p.m. on November 23rd to learn his fate.
