Question: How can I drag and drop into a hidden program?
Answer: The "drag and drop" technique can be a real time saver - it can allow you to (for example) quickly insert a picture file into a Word document. The only downside of the feature is that it isn't obvious how to drag an item onto a program that has been minimized/hidden to the Taskbar. Fortunately, there is a way to do it.
Begin dragging a file on your desktop - click and hold the left mouse button on the file, and begin to move your mouse while still pressing the left mouse button. On your Taskbar look for the program you want to drag the file into and move your mouse over it - don't release the button yet. After leaving the mouse pointer there for a second or two, the program should appear and you can drop the file on it.
