Automate Spybot Search and Destroy

Question: How can I automate scans with Spybot Search & Destroy? Answer: Spybot Search and Destroy has the ability to automatically scan and fix problems at scheduled times. To schedule a scan, first open Spybot then click the "Mode" menu, then click on "Advanced Mode." Now click the "Settings" button in the bottom left and then click the button called "Scheduler."

If they are not already checked, click on the check boxes beside the words "Fix problems..." and "Close program after finishing." Now click on the "Edit" button at the top of the window and, in the window that appears, click on the "Schedule" tab. In the Schedule tab, click "New", then click on the word "Daily" and click on "Weekly" in the menu that appears.

Set the time of day and the day of the week when you want the scan to run and once you have finished, click "Ok." Spybot should now automatically scan your computer every week.
