Deleting jobs in Print Queue

Question: How can I delete items from the Print Queue?

Answer: When a document fails to print properly in Microsoft Windows, the Print Queue window can often become unresponsive. The failed document will effectively clog the print queue, preventing you from deleting it or printing any other documents. When this happens, the quickest way to restore printing is to restart the Windows "Print Spooler" service.

To do this, click on your Start button and then click on Control Panel. In the Control Panel, click on Performance and Maintenance and then click on Administrative Tools. Now double-click on the Services icon and, in the list of services on the right, scroll down until you see an item called "Print Spooler." Click on it with your right mouse button and click "Restart" in the menu that pops up. The print queue should now let you delete failed items.
